2012 - where it all began
the birth of running shots
Running Shots was founded with a simple belief: every runner has a story worth capturing. We began photographing local running events and sharing those moments on our Facebook page, giving runners a place to find, relive, and celebrate their race-day memories.
2015 - beyond our shores
Our First Overseas Chapter
We were invited to cover our first international race — the Conquer The Wall Marathon in Beijing, China. What started as a single assignment became a long-term journey. To this day, we continue returning to this iconic race, capturing thousands of runners and the unforgettable moments etched along the Great Wall.
2025 - Innovative Technology
Smarter Ways to Find Your Moments
As our archive grew, so did the need for better access. In 2025, we partnered with a technology provider to move our photos onto a new platform, introducing facial and bib recognition — making it faster and easier for runners to find the moments that matter most.
2026 - A New Digital Home
The Runningshots Platform Launch
We launched the Running Shots digital platform, bringing together event photography, stories, and running-related content in one place. This marked our evolution from a photography page into a growing sports lifestyle and community platform — built for runners, athletes, and everyone who loves to move.
